Abstract
This is a review to a collection of essays on Northern Narratives in Ireland. It is a positive review and it unerlines how the volume, "Writing Ulster: Northern Narratives", attests to contemporary writers' renewed eye on the Troubles. The latter, though remaining inescapably their main theme, are approached according to different perspectives and developed through narratives which are vehicles of a literary truth beyound their borders.
