Abstract

This article examines workplace work-life arrangements as an effective means both to manage diversity in organizations and to boost organizational effectiveness. The manuscript critically analyses the link between work-life balance and diversity management. Then, drawing on previous scholarship as well as on empirical research, it addresses methodological issues and concerns about the evaluation of the potential consequences of workplace work-family initiatives on employees and organizations
