Abstract

This chapter focusses on the role of women in agriculture and food production\r\nand distribution, with a view to highlight discrimination, gender biases and\r\ngender inequality that unfortunately continue to make women’s life harder,\r\nand to hinder development – both their personal development, and society’s\r\ndevelopment at large.
