Abstract
Well-being can be defined as that individual positive condition of
almost full self-realization to be reached in the ages of life. To feel well is a sensation
that can be felt in relation to one or more contexts: physical, moral, emotional,
religious, social, and so on for the person’s all dimensions. But what can well-being
mean? Balance between mind and motor activity, satisfaction of needs and selfrealization,
absence of diseases are all concepts included in the new way to conceive
man’s health. Active health is a goal neither genetic nor forced from the outside but
on the contrary it is intrinsic and can be educated; one of the operations that today it
is necessary is to include a strong culture of movement, wellness and active health
into our educative system.
