Unaccompanied Minors in Italy. Challenges and Way Ahead

The aim of the volume is twofold. The first, and more ambitious, aspiration is that the presented analysis would lead to the improvement of procedures and interventions, helping to capitalize virtuous experiences and to correct weaknesses; the second one is to contribute to the understanding of protection’s procedures and\r\nmechanisms. For these reasons, a detailed look at data and numbers of unaccompanied minors’ presence in Italy is followed by the analysis of social and psychological aspects: they are, indeed, children and young boys with special stories and\r\nexperiences, with different migratory paths and with peculiar needs in terms of identity definition.
