Abstract
The “Family Bond Promotion and Enrichment Programs” are a form of semi-structured preventive intervention that aims at several purposes: stimulating couples and parents to reflect on their family identity, improving skills, enriching the family social dimension. These Programs set their theoretical background within the relational-symbolic paradigm by Scabini and Cigoli (2000). This contribution presents an overview of the key aspects of this form of intervention. Moreover, an example of intervention for parents and its assessment will be illustrated. Twenty-five parents of children aged between 3 and 11, participated in this intervention. The evaluation, both of the process and of results, was carried out with a multimethod design that included self-report and observational measures, among which also graphic-projective instruments.
