Abstract
The essay explains the innovations ot the communicative style of Mike Bongiorno, as a man who deeply understood the necessity of a clear and easy communication to reach the wide Tv audience in the '50s and onward. This attitude had be seen with some disdain by some intellectuals, notably Umberto Eco in a famous eassy on Mike.
