N2 - Scholars from Central and South-Eastern European states present a series of research projects on transnational and transcultural educational models, using various examples from their countries in the XIX and XX centuries. These articles focus on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Greece, Italy and Spain, to demonstrate how individuals, ideas and institutions became educational models in different cultures and nations, through a process of active reception, change and hybridization.
