Trafficking in human beings. The case of sexual exploitation of women in Italy.

Considering the trafficking in human beings as a very complex phenomenon, articulated in several phases and ending with the exploitation of a victim, whose fundamental rights are violated, the article presents the psychological consequences of trafficking on the victims and some recent protection programs implemented in Italy.
