Abstract

The essay is an analysis of the practice of writing biographical film or Tv series (especially miniseries) in the Hollywood tradition and in the tradition of Italian Tv miniseries production, especially for Rai. It deals with questions as the importance of theme, the relation between historical facts and dramatizations, som key points to engage the audience, etc.
