Abstract
This short article discusses how literature, and particularly science fiction and dystopian narratives, were able to forecast current challenges posed by rapid technological advancements to the ability of law to play its designated role of conflict management and control, up to the point that the very foundations of the liberal democratic legal order are now undermined by technology-driven anthropological mutations.
