Abstract
Several chemical agents including hydroquinone, retinoic acid, and azelaic acid are currently used in the treatment of cutaneous hyperpigmentations. Recently chemical peelings with kojic acid, glycolic acid, and trichloroacetic acid, either alone or in combination, have been introduced for treatment of hyperpigmentations.
