Risultato della ricerca: Contributo in rivistaArticolo in rivistapeer review

Abstract

This article explores the issue of intergenerational transmission of caring practices and parental style, focusing specifially on fidings from various research studies on men and fathers in the United Kingdom and Italy. It considers the tension between change and continuity in the context of fathering/fatherhood and family practices through an intergenerational lens, it discusses key cultural differences and similarities between the two countries, and it critically examines the language and semantics of the ‘new’ fatherhood discourse.
