Abstract

This paper aims to understand what drives Italian startups performance. It is an attempt to consider variables representing both internal and external contexts thus giving a complete overview of the phenomenon. In addition, we find the interesting result of an Inverted U-shape between investors portfolio size and startups’ performance.
