Abstract
The essay describes the hostorical development of Italian media after the Second World War, through an analysis of the intersections with tha Italian Society. Three subperiod are recognised: the first between the 1945 and the end of the 50s; the second one during the economical boom until the 1968, the third one until the death of Aldo Moro, an important Italian Politician, kidnapped by the terroristic group Brigate Rosse. The essay shows the continuity throughout the three periods, in particular about the innovation, the role of intellectuals and the role played by the youngest generations.
