Abstract
We describe the tool APP-LIC-IT, which shows some characteristics of judgments on dismissals rendered in the years 2010-2020 by the Italian Courts of Appeal. Methodological considerations adopted in data collection and organization, as well as considerations concerning different sharing levels of data, are presented.\r\nThe tool is based on a very original and difficult-to-access dataset, at the moment unique as far as the Italian experience is concerned, which can help researchers to better understand the interpretive evolution of the concepts of justifiable reason, objective and subjective, for dismissal in a long historical moment of normative changes that have never formally affected these concepts, but which could affect their applicative meaning due to the ups and downs of the sanctioning consequences of unfair dismissal.
