Abstract
From this conversation between a well-known phenomenologist and a pedagogist the phenomenological attitude arises as both intellectual and existential disposition, which is the basis of a "personal knowledge" in care professions. This cognitive and emotional attitude can mould the particular "way of being" which characterizes thise professionals who, day by day, take care of people and their existence.
