Abstract
The article provides an insight into the different techniques used in the visualisation of German intonation and how they evolved together with their corresponding theoretical beackground and aims. It also offers teachers of German as a foreign language a few ideas on how to incorporate these visualisation techniques into their lessons and in order to make it easier for students to learn how German intonation works.
