During his first term in office, Donald Trump failed to implement his revolutionary foreign policy agenda. To provide a plausible explanation for the multifaceted nature of Trump’s foreign policy achievements and shortcomings, this book brings together leadership trait analysis and bureaucratic politics to develop a model that explores their interactions and mutual influence.
