Abstract
In this interview, acclaimed scholar George Kiraz retraces his life-long engagement with Syriac heritage and language, from the Dead Sea Scrolls that were kept for some weeks at his father's house in Bethlehem, to the emigration to the US, the Dot-com crash and the founding of the publishing house "Gorgias Press".
