[Ita:]Universalismo e particolarismo, globalità e localismo sono di- cotomie costitutive la sfida dello sviluppo sostenibile. “Human development is all about human freedoms: freedom to realize the full potential of every human life, not just of a few, nor of most, but of all lives in every corner of the world – now and in the future. Such universalism gives the human development approach its uniqueness” (Unites Nations, 2016). Dinanzi a obiettivi “integrati e indivisibili”, “globali in natura e universalmente applicabili”, non sono trascurabili i livelli di sviluppo, le priorità e le capacità delle diverse realtà nazionali affinché la sostenibilità si traduca in politiche, strategie e misure concrete, così che ogni paese affronti sfide specifiche per raggiungere lo sviluppo sostenibile: “We recognize that there are different approaches, visions, models and tools available to each country, in accordance with its national circumstances and priorities, to achieve sustainable development; and we reaffirm that planet Earth and its ecosystems are our common home and that “Mother Earth” is a com- mon expression in a number of countries and regions” (United Nations, 2015).
