Abstract
The giant-cell central reparative granuloma, unlike other giant-cell neoplasias, \r\nis mainly found in maxillary bones, particularly in the mandible. We report a\r\npatient study of giant-cell central reparative granuloma in the mandible\r\nextending from dental elements 34 to 44. The patient underwent excision of a\r\nneoplasm and reconstruction of the mandible via an autologous bone graft of the\r\niliac crest. To restore fully, functionally, and aesthetically the masticatory\r\napparatus after verification of graft stability, four osseointegrated implants\r\nwere fixed, and an "overdenture" prosthesis was then applied, thus finally\r\nsolving the problem.
