Abstract
Moving from the analysis of a constitutional-law formulary of the Fifties,
the paper aims to explore the reasons of the preference of the academical approach in this field of study. After affirming the juridical effectiveness of the Constitution, the essay examines the way in which it is pursued and the main problems regarding its application. The article concludes with both a methodological proposal and a thought about the role of professional publishing.
