Abstract
The authors present and discuss the results of a study performed in Italy, at a regional level, to compare the frequency of food-borne infections before and after abolishment
of food worker health card requirements. Results confirm the efficacy of food safety training
for food handlers, in accordance with evidence-based prevention data.
