Abstract
The contribution faces th migrant profile of contemporary society, paying attention to the educational and school Italian context. The proximity to the difference and growth of personal perceptions about the different and the foreigner, and at the same time the overcoming of foreignness and remoteness, constitute the fundamentals of a “paradigm of values” based on the relationship: difference-identity-otherness. In this direction the author proposes an “education to intercultural values” as ethical task to "think differently" and in relation to each other, recognizing the common belonging among all subjects.
