N2 - In case of recurrent high risk non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer, radical cystectomy is recommended because of its oncologic superiority over further conservative treatments. Major surgery greatly affects quality of life, and patients may prefer to preserve the native bladder. Device-assisted therapy, which resulted in satisfactory oncologic results, especially in selected patients, shows promise and is worth further careful evaluation.
