Abstract
Although Luigi Santucci is the author of only one proper book of verses, an opening to the suggestions of contemporary poetrycan also be traced in his fictional prose. Thispaper analyzes the themes and formal structures of Se io mi scorderò(1969), a collection of poemsdedicated to his latemother, identifying the links with some of the most representative Italian poetic voices of the twentieth century
