Abstract
Yeats' poetic production is rather developed as a unitary continuum, advancing along a circular trajectory, starting from and ending
at the same place, (ancient) Ireland. Within such a circular path poetic sub-genres, the romantic-lyrical one and the modern-dramatic one, are not to be perceived as different from each other, but rather as two expressions of the same form, represented by the poetic product per se.
