Abstract

Functions of body aesthetics are integral parts\r\nof personality and complexity which must be taken\r\ninto account especially in adolescence and early\r\nadulthood. However, it is not always possible to\r\nhighlight the relationships with psychopathologies\r\nintuitively connected because the adolescent is not\r\naware of the relationships between discomfort and\r\naesthetic alteration. The relational value of the face\r\nis intuited by the subjects after a path of significant\r\ninternalization (psychotherapy, introspection, other\r\nreflexive practices). Dental aesthetics can therefore\r\nsignificantly affect the well-being of adolescents and\r\nyoung adults, influencing important factors such as\r\nbody representation and self-esteem
