Abstract
The contribution proposes a pedagogical rereading of adolescent discomfort signs, re-semantizing the concept of protection, in view to re-activate educational care within the school as supportive and promotional educational context. Starting from the qualitative analysis in relation to “Teseo Project: promoting well-being in school” for the period 2019-2022, with the involvement of educators and educational psychologists, emerges how pandemic has acted as a ‘highlighter’ and accelerator of fragilities, disclosing emotional needs, recognition, ransom of young people, the complexity of relationship in presence, as well as the impoverishment of an adult gaze. In synthesis the project emerges as a ‘building site’ of educational school service, open to the construction of new horizons of possibilities to accompany young people towards a perspective of growth and narration of a possible future.
