Abstract
Todd and Rabern (2021) have argued that if we assume that future\r\ncontingents are untrue, and if we accept the principle of the Retrogradation\r\nof truth, then the existence of a temporal omniscient\r\nentity becomes metaphysically impossible. Since the truth of a\r\nmetaphysical and theological theory should not be dependent on questions\r\nof temporal semantics, Todd and Rabern conclude that, if one\r\nwishes to maintain that future contingents are untrue, one must abandon\r\nthe principle of Retrogradation of truth. The aim of this paper is\r\nto propose a temporal semantics system in which future contingents\r\nare untrue, the principle of the Retrogradation of truth is valid, and\r\nthe possibility of the existence of an omniscient and temporal being is\r\nguaranteed.
