Abstract
The self-care indicates the practical implications to be better able to care for others. Caregivers in social and educational services note the inconsistency of the old paradigms and are facing unprecedented challenges, only verified by the contact with a lived experience. The book addresses (in phenomenological perspective) the Erlebnis, the epoché and the empathy, offering a reflection on the essential "emotional tones" in the reports and gestures of educational care.
