Abstract
Human existence is essentially related to time and project. Due to its intentional structure, the process of becoming a person is permanently oriented towards a set of aims and purposes. This paper discusses the ontological self-transcendence of human being and its importance to education, with special focus on adolescence and youth search for meaning.
