Abstract

In the Italian culture among the two wars an increasing number of Jewish authors engaged in the creative writing for the young people. The education of the young generations and the deep attention for the beauty of the word help the transmission of an individual and collective memory to the young generation. In this context there were writers with very different personal and narrative perspectives: Paola Carrara Lombroso, Amelia Rosselli e Dino Provenzal were in the open opposition to the fascism but Laura Cantoni Orvieto, Anna e Rosa Errera lived difficult paths. T he racial persecutions stopped their publications and in some cases they didn't recognize as authors of the works that they had written. The Jewish passion toward the writing and the trust toward the education has been distinctive elements to qualify them "prisoners of the hope" . Along this way the Jewish authors has really delivered us the modernity of the written word and the example of their existence.
