Prendiamoci un caffè, parliamo di valori”. Una proposta di dialogo sull’etica professionale per gli assistenti sociali

Professional ethics is very important for social workers, who often anchor in professional principles in order to choose in practical dilemmas. But do they have time to reflect together about professional ethics? The research and education programm “Let’s have a coffee, speak about values. Making shared meanings about professional ethics” wanted to be an opportunity to share ethical reflection for some social workers. The proposal was characterized not only by the contents – professional values – but also by the process, reflexive, dialogical and informal. The article focuses on the features of the process, analysed by the social workers involved, and offers them like suggestions for future social workers’ ethical reflection.
