Abstract
Цветонаименования любого языка всегда предметны. Как и во всех других языках, наиболее ранние цветонаименования китайского языка этимологически обозначали цвета определенных объектов: 白 (bai) – цвет солнца, 赤 (chi) - цвет огня, 黄 (huang) - цвет земли.
Основываясь на анализе данных этимологических словарей и классических литературных произведений, мы склонны классифицировать пути возникновения сравнительно поздних цветонаименований китайского языка следующим образом.
