Abstract
This book presents a look at the past, present and future of the processing tomato production in Northern Italy. Agronomic, economic, environmental and cultural aspects of the local tomato agroecosystems are discussed, with a particular focus on the innovations needed for a sustainable cultivation of these important Italian crop.
