Abstract
The article examines the political celebrations and feasts in Italy. It describes the feasts organized by the State, the parties, and citizens. But it considers also the political feasts in the media. Is the crisis of the traditional parties leading to a crisis of the political feasts? What are the consequences of the mediatisation and the spectacularisation of the political feasts?
