Abstract

In recent years, peace education has become an urgent, crucial topic, which cannot be postponed, given the growing complexity of global challenges and international tensions. This type of education aims to promote understanding of others, tolerance, cooperation and non-violence as fundamental principles for addressing conflicts and building a more peaceful and fair society. This article intends to contribute to the debate on peace education practices, highlighting the contribution that sport and physical education can make, from a holistic and integrated perspective. Thanks to some reflections on the relationship between sport, education, politics and society, we will try to outline some perspectives of playfulmotor and sports education useful for building peace in times of war, like the ones we are experiencing
