Abstract
This article presents and comments for the first time the unpublished correspondence between the famous psychiatrists Ludwig Binswanger and Viktor E. Frankl, reconstructed by materials conserved in the Viktor-Frankl-Institut (Wien) and the Binswanger-Archiv (Tübingen). Their dialogue and discussions are concerned with basic topics of phenomenological epistemology and psychopathology, concentrating on philosophical anthropology, as the basis of every possible understanding of human existence and care.
