Abstract
The article develops a reflection on the importance of a conscious and responsible use of language in contemporary education, with particular attention to the digital environment. The contribution emphasizes the ethical dimension of communication and highlights the need to adopt pedagogical approaches based on kindness, in order to prevent and counteract violent language phenomena, while fostering educational relationships grounded in care, listening, and mutual respect. In this perspective, schools are recognized as a privileged context for digital citizenship education, through educational practices aimed at responsibility, awareness, and the promotion of civil coexistence online.
