Abstract
This paper illustrates the results of an exploratory study, based on a qualitative approach, aimed at investigating the effects of the digitization imposed by the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic on the experience and practices implemented by the health participation bodies established by the Tuscany Region. By adopting Sewell’s theoretical framework, which allows studying social change through the analysis of the interaction between schemas and resources, the findings of the study allow us to outline possible future scenarios of participatory practices. Specifically, from the analysis of the empirical material it emerges how the digital infrastructure is to be considered an "asset" to be maintained as a supplement to (and not a replacement for) face-to-face meetings, albeit through different declinations aimed at identifying an adequate balance between effectiveness on a technical-operational level and the inclusiveness of the participants.
