Abstract
The book “Operations Management for Healthcare Organizations: Theory, Models and Tools” is intended to be a useful guide to students, managers and policy makers interested in the development and implementation of the Operations Management (OM) function in healthcare delivery organizations.
Particularly the book illustrates models and operational solutions in the two main areas that characterize OM in healthcare:
