Abstract
This paper is published in a special issue of Nuova Secondaria dedicated to the theme of EXPO 2015, "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", and its fallout on language. My essay describes how a serious game on climate change may be used meaningfully with learners of English as a second or foreign language in a task-based activity.
