Abstract
Legionnaires’ disease still represents a relevant cause of all admitted pneumonia cases, with a remarkable average mortality rate. Extrapulmonary manifestations of Legionellosis are frequently described, principally involving the heart, the kidney, the gut, and the central nervous system (CNS). We report a patient with an immune-mediated Legionella pneumophila induced cerebellar dysfunction and corpus callosum lesion (SCC) successfully treated with high dose intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG).
