Nel prisma dell’amore: compassione e misericordia

The essay first focuses in general on the nature of ethical virtues, on the relationship between them and passion-emotions and with love. \r\nThen it specifies the discourse in relation to the emotion of compassion, examining its obstacles and predispositions (especially vulnerability) and trying to discharge it of some accusations (moved for example by Kant and Nietzsche). \r\nHe then focuses on mercy as a virtue and his works and finally hints at mercy as the divine name and his relationship with charity.
