Background: The analysis of the most cited articles represents an important resource for detecting the central themes in the research field.Aim: This article aims at highlighting the issues examined by the 10 most cited articles under "clinical psychology".Method: The research was conducted through the Scopus database, including the first 10 most cited articles under "clinical psychology".Results: The articles selected from the Scopus database under the heading "clinical psychology" are part of an inclusive data range from 2007 to 2017 and include all the articles, including those for payment.Conclusions: Highlighting the first 10 most cited articles in Scopus under the heading "clinical psychology" can help to understand the most attentive issues in recent years in the field of clinical psychology.
