Abstract
The essay analyzes the events of the Foundation and the development of the academic Centre of diocesan sports "Rino Fenaroli", donated by the Fenaroli family to the diocese of Milan, for the physical training of young Catholics. The research reveals the complex events of its organization and launch, relating to the social and cultural changes of the economic boom years and the pastoral vision of Archbishop Montini.
