Abstract
Resilience is considered the ability to "repair oneself" after a trauma or a series of traumas, positively reorganizing life, despite the presence of problematic situations that would reasonably imply a negative outcome. Migration is considered one of the most important risk factors for children and the consequences on them are sometimes severe. After drawing a theoretical framework of the concept, the paper focuses on the processes of developing resilience, in front of situations marked by significant risk factors, such as migration during childhood.
