Abstract
The paper presents a general overview of Roman bronze medallions found in northern Italy. In some cases, it clarifies the partial information provided by Gnecchi 1919, Toynbee 1940, Callu 1969 and Doyen 2008. At the same time it extends the survey to the western part of northern Italy. Seven specimens are presented and analysed, with provenance from Oderzo, Aquileia, Abano Terme, Pontecchio Polesine, Aosta (two pieces), Ivrea and Milan.
